WHERE TO FIND THE BEST... kid's room decor & inspiration

Designing a child’s room can be so much fun. All of the color and boho vibes you may not have infused into the rest of your home can be infused in a child’s bedroom or playroom. Below is a small list of a few favorite items from one of my go-to sources, Crate & Kids (formerly known as Land of Nod).

Woven Wall Hangings are colorful, soft ways to add color and pattern to a wall. These are great to add that bohemian flair or a great option if you have a little one and are avoiding heavy art.

Garland is such an easy way to add a little extra to a space. Easy to hang, these light weight lengths of fun look good regardless of where they are hung. They can be messily thrown across a curtain rod, draped over a dresser mirror, tacked wall to wall for a large scale effect, or even hung vertically as sensory art.

Large Wood Clips are the best way to display their art. It allows for art to be interchanged so easily and doesn’t put a ton of holes in the walls or tape marks. They’ve made you something special – time to hang it up with pride and these do that for sure!

The Solar System Mobile is perfect for the space enthusiast in your life – mobiles don’t have to only be hung over cribs. These are also fun to hang over a reading chair or inside a canopy. This one is colorful and just cool.

This Colorful Triangle Rug is the perfect accent to any room. It features many colors, but is still muted and sophisticated (don’t tell the child that!). This rug would be great over carpet or hard floors and would add a nice punch of pattern play.

Crate & Kids also sells what I think is the CUTEST playhouse out there. Perfect for any child, this fun and funky desert hideaway is so unique. Large play items are much easier to put up with when they are this cool!
